    Well... sorry

    Posted: 02 May 2020 09:29 AM PDT

After 5 hours of my first playthrough I have literally 67 shots of woods in this game.

Why I love the bohemian countryside

Why are Wayfarers scared of Henry while he fast travels?

    Posted: 02 May 2020 07:53 AM PDT

I'm on my s cond playthrough and I always lose the escape skill checks when I'm traveling which is whatever. But it's always Wayfarers going "Who's there" and running away when I walk towards them.

It happens day or night because I had originally thought it was over a torch.

[SPOILERS] Is Baptism of Fire supposed to be this difficult?

    Posted: 02 May 2020 10:35 AM PDT

I've been ignoring the main quest for a long time, so I figured I might be OP for it and decided to continue it. Nest of Vipers was fine enough but Baptism of Fire.. the battle is impossible? I made it to Runt once but at that point I had no health at all, so if he even jabbed me with the guilt of his sword I died.

I've reloaded the save in an effort to have more health when I get to him but now I can't even get through the battle.

I'm at a loss. I've been enjoying this game so so much but at this point my desire to play is gone. I'm usually super patient with games (pretty casual ngl) but this has frustrated me so much :(

Ahh... This game is so beautiful.

    Posted: 01 May 2020 06:33 PM PDT

First weekend since the end of the semester and I couldn't picture a better way to celebrate. Literally, the past year (since last May) have been some of the darkest and hardest times I've ever experienced.

I know this sounds really lame to post about, but I thought I'd never find this little joy I am experiencing right now. A mix of endorphins from that and my bike ride, 5k, walking the pups, cleaning the house and making a great dinner, I feel amazing with a glass of spanish red and playing Kingdom Come.

The beautiful weather/sunset plus this nearby bonfire are adding to the experience as well. It's moments like this that make all the pain and suffering all worth it in the end.

Anyways, again, kinda a lame post. I'll probably end up deleting it once I get over myself. lol. I hope you guys are having a good day too.

Captain Bernard Lost into oblivion please help

    Posted: 02 May 2020 10:25 AM PDT

I am up to the quest "All that glisters" on my first playthrough and I am guessing that captain bernard should be chilling at his little arena in rattay but his horse is still in neuhof and he is nowhere to be seen, I just recently learned that in order to progress in combat I need to actually train with him, so if I cannot get him back then I might have to restart my progress ;(

Edit: I am on PC, version 1.9.5-404-503

P.S: I have the game through the Xbox app (windows 10)

You can get loot really early.

    Posted: 02 May 2020 03:32 AM PDT

You can get loot really early. Like at the start of the game.

As you run from Skalitz, the game tells you to mount a horse.

Instead of running off with your horse as the game tells you to, whip out your sword and kill the cumans that are coming toward you.

They are spawned in so that they can kill unsuspecting Henrys, but on horseback they can all be killed. Make sure to take the archers and polearm users out first.

You can do the same at Rovna but it's a lot harder.

    Hope it helped.

Just downloaded the game. Watched a tips and tricks video. Looking for more advice.

    Posted: 01 May 2020 11:42 PM PDT

So I just downloaded the game. Been playing it for a few hours. Im at the part where I'm just about to bury my parents (I just found there bodies and I'm about to drag them to their faces). Any tips at all about mastering the finer aspects of the game?

is there a trick to the perfect block and Riposte system?

    Posted: 02 May 2020 06:18 AM PDT

I grabbed the game pretty recently during a sale and when I was introduced to the perfect block and riposte system I thought "cool, I'm familiar with parrying from souls like games this'll be easy" but now that I'm putting it into practice I find that whenever I try to make a riposte I'm just easily blocked, dodged or just stabbed for my attempt. I know I get the perfect block becuase I don't lose stamina and I get the little slow down affect but I just can't get the riposte. Also does the green shield not pop sometimes? Like during are there attacks where I'm just supposed to figure out the timing?

Any advice anyone can offer would be really appreciated it's getting a little frustrating and I'd really like to enjoy the combat more

    Game worth it on PS4?

    Posted: 02 May 2020 06:14 AM PDT

The Royal edition is 50% off on PS4, and I'm sure I'd like it, but is it worth it for the PS4?

I'm fearing that the port will be a downgrade, graphics or controls-wise. Is it good, bearable or should I try PC instead?

Sometimes I just can't stand the combat AI.

    Posted: 02 May 2020 12:12 AM PDT

I don't know what you all think of the combat, but sometimes I feel like the AI is just trying to troll me. All enemies are ridiculously defensive, I can stand still and put my fuckin weapon away and they will circle around me for what feels like 30 seconds before throwing a swing. Should I try to be aggressive, they pull out the master strike. If I manage to land a hit, my opponent will probably master strike out of my combo, snapping instantly from a stumbling around animation to parry god moves. I really don't understand how to best a decent fighter without just dragging the duel out, sneaking in single hits over a few very boring minutes.

It feels so weird, sometimes a very very cool exchange will happen and it feels awesome. I get that a fight can sit in neutral for a while at times, but most of my time in combat is spent waking in circles while being called a cunt. Do you guys have any tips to make combat actually happen?
