Just noticed this bit of foreshadowing? (SPOILERS)

    Posted: 20 Mar 2020 06:51 AM PDT

I'd had A Woman's Lot DLC for a long time but never played it. After completing basically everything else that could be done in the game and DLCs, I decided to finally give it a try. The rest of this is mild spoilers for the DLC so if you haven't played it yet don't read any further.

On the part of Theresa's story where she and Bianca go to pick belladonna in the woods for saviour schnapps and get ambushed by the "wolf" the villagers were frightened of, it's revealed to be nothing but a stray dog. Or is it?

The model for the dog seems to be identical to the one used for Cuman dogs. Is this purely coincidental? Do you think the developers simply chose that model to represent a shaggy stray dog, or was it intended as a bit of foreshadowing of the coming events?

I think it's entirely possible that Cuman scouts may have been sent ahead of the main force sometime before the attack and they could've been camping in those woods waiting for the army. Or perhaps they left their dog behind accidentally after scouting the area? I remember Theresa also bringing up that it was a dog and sounded intrigued.

It's been awhile since I played through the DLC so the details aren't fresh in my mind. What do you think, is it just a stray dog or is it foreshadowing?

What's the deal with people calling Runt big?

    Posted: 19 Mar 2020 10:38 PM PDT

Dude's been described as a "giant" and as a "mountain of a man", yet, he's only as tall as Henry, who's like what, 5'7? Seems like a buff dude, but not anything particularly notable or that would give meaning to his titles.

Is using combat jackets etc. worth it?

    Posted: 20 Mar 2020 02:59 AM PDT

I know that it gives bonuses to combat and charisma etc. however, I don't like the way jackets look, I like seeing my plate better than seeing jacket. Also, jacket seem to get damaged more during fighting, so it seems that I need to take a trip to tailor's more than with other pieces of armor.

WHat are your thoughts about it? Does not having a jacket leave me too vulnerable to blunt weapons, or can I safely play without them?

Is the first cuman at the beggining of the game tougher than normal?

    Posted: 19 Mar 2020 09:50 PM PDT

If you managed to land the rare hit on him, he took almost no damage, while I've recently been downing cumans in 2 body shots from a Bailiff's mace,
