    Finished my 1st play-through - Kudos to kc:d

This week I finished my first play-through in hc with all negative perks and without killing anyone on XBone.

I know that the game is out for 1.5yrs now but I do not exhaust-play games immediately after release. Sometimes the stars have to be aligned right to tackle some things in (virtual-) life ^^

Yes, I do specifically hunt achievements and if I consider a game worth it I will also try going for 100% completion. Now these two chevos (Merciful and 'Tis but a scratch) turned out to be pretty challenging for me. Generally I love challenges and I cannot tell you how much fun I had completing this game under these circumstances.
Especially the missing position marker in hc-mode is just so much fun. Navigating the map only by first person visuals is nothing less than I expect from a game that focuses on realism. Well, sometimes that fun turned into a wtf'ing nightmare when that Sonambulant-perk caused you waking up in the middle of the night in the middle of the woods (without a torch? No never, who would not always have a torch with them) ...

I remember laughing out loud ocassionally while playing alone in my room during the story which I found really deep and compelling. I fell like this game is pretty time-consuming but it was absolutely worth it for me. There is so much beauty and well-thought detail in it which is not found that often nowadays - especially when you look at some AAA titles.

Hope you all here will have / had just as much fun as I had playing kc:d.

    /praise
    :)

TLDR: Had a blast finishing two pretty hard achievements.

    Kingdom Come anyone?

    Posted: 07 Nov 2019 05:10 AM PST

Is it possible to get the “Judas” achievement during my Merciful play through?

    Posted: 07 Nov 2019 08:33 AM PST

I don't want to kill anyone but I heard that I will need to to complete the Judas achievement? Is that true? If it is, is it easy to just load a previous save before killing anyone to continue my merciful play through?

Thick as Thieves - Woyzeck post the mission Pestilence (mild spoiler)

    Posted: 06 Nov 2019 09:34 PM PST

For one of the millers, Woyzeck, I have to steal a horse from the Merhojed stables but all the livestock died during the plague. Do they get horses again? It's been several days (in game) since I successfully completed the Pestilence mission.

    Kingdom Come Deliverance 2 Speculation

    Posted: 07 Nov 2019 02:59 AM PST

I actually thought about it for a while and I came to a conclusion that maybe, maybe there won't be a KCD2 but instead a very big sort of DLC to KCD because we still have the Markvark von Aulitz or whatever his name is as a mission and it would make sense if they wanted to continue the story. Some pros would be that you'd get to keep all of your stuff and I am very behind that idea, I really don't wanna restart from near zero after I had 100K Groschen and topped out armor and such. A con is that unlike KCD1 that would mean that you'd mostly not have any level ups or perks because many of us are topped out already.

Just ideas by the way, in no way is this supported by anything whatsoever.

Did they roll back all clothes in inventory being laundered?

    Posted: 07 Nov 2019 10:26 AM PST

I remember not long ago playing after visiting the bathhouse all my clothes would be laundered and the blacksmith repairing items would also clean them. Did they roll it back or am I just tripping out?

Will we be getting an unofficial patch in the future?

    Posted: 07 Nov 2019 01:56 AM PST

Looks like the modkit is out, is it possible for an unofficial patch to be made similar to Skyrim?

Skalitz shield in A Woman's Lot?

    Posted: 07 Nov 2019 06:48 AM PST

Can someone tell me when/where to pick it up? I don't want to miss it but I'm not ploughing through an entire Let's Play to try and find out.

EDIT: Turns out you don't need to pick it up at all, Theresa gets it off-screen and just hands it over after you return to he main game.

I am putting together an irl outfit

    Posted: 06 Nov 2019 05:24 PM PST

Outfit for ren faires, cons, jomsborg, etc. I wanted to know if anyone can tell me what burgher shoes and cuman riding boots are called in real life and if anyone happens to know of patterns or even online shops where those are sold. I've seen something similar to burgher shoes on kult of athena but it doesn't tell me what they are called or the historic evidence of them actually having existed. I like the upturned curled toes of this kind of footwear. So far the only thing I have found in trying to figure this out for myself is "crackow shoes" but from what I can tell they are just long toed shoes which is not what I am looking for. Thanks for reading. Hopefully some of you will have some ideas.

    Weapon Handling

    Posted: 06 Nov 2019 10:22 AM PST

Do weapons you use more deal more damage? My Henry has been using Saving Grace for a while, and just got St Michaels sword, and the base damage for St Michaels sword is higher in the weapon description, but in the inventory it does less than Saving Grace.
