Kingdom Come I've never had a game that I enjoyed playing more than KCD. Today, after about 259 hours and many months of stalling, I've managed to obtain the platinum trophy. Jesus Christ be praised! Thank you Warhorse Studios for creating this absolute gem of a game.

Every time I go into the forest, all I can think of is how this world would be amazing for a Robin hood game.

    Posted: 18 May 2021 06:19 PM PDT

Historical setting, classic story, romance, archery, stealth, bandits and peasants.

This entire world built by Warhorse would be perfect for a Robin Hood rpg.. so much potential with that storyline too.

Man how has no one made a Robin hood open world rpg yet.. One could only dream. Make it happen Warhorse! 🤞

    I'm hated real bad...

    Posted: 18 May 2021 10:30 PM PDT

So in Ledetchko I'm super hated and despised. I'm at -51. I have to pay people to talk to me and its not cheap (250) so what can I possibly do to make it better?

So since yesterday I got an error code on my PS4 whilst playing KCD and the game immediately shut off. Aside from restarting the console and deleting savegames,is there anything else I can do? Much appreciated in advance :) !

This thread is for commenting on the fact that Farkle is sold out while it is still in its pre-order-phase. It is also for letting people know where it still is in stock or if it has been re-stocked.

Min-maxing in Skalitz and early game

    Posted: 19 May 2021 01:07 AM PDT

I've been Trying to grind my skills up as high as possible in the tutorial just to see how far you can go with it and you can get really overpowered before leaving Skalitz. Heres the method ive been using so far. let me know if ive missed anything to level any other skills farther

    1. At the start of the game pick the bonus points to strength so you have enough to stealth KO guards later then pick all of the herbs in Skalitz and take the leg day perk once you reach level 10 and keep going and you should get about 3 points of strength out of it as well as herbalism up to about level 16. sell all your nettle and other low value herbs to the merchants to clear out their gold but hold on to all your marigold for later. Also fight the sword trainer and refuse to combo until it kicks you out and you should get another level strength and some sword and warfare levels
    2. Get the lockpicks from Fritz then Pick every lock in Skalitz clearing out every house and you should get to level 5 lockpicking and a ton of loot out of it. Once you can unlock the hard locked merchant chests you will get a bunch of repair kits to powerlevel maintenance with on all of your stolen gear and get the rest of the way to 20 by grinding an axe sharp then blunt repeatedly if you have the patience for it
    3. Find a guard off on their own and save scum to get a stealth knock out. kill off every guard in the village this way, if they arent off on their own bait them away by getting a payable bounty by punching a horse or something and running to the edge of the village, pay your bounty then stealth KO and take your money back. Save the bailiff for last, people will see it but at that point there isnt anyone left for them to report it to so you've basically legalized all crime and have the Bailiffs mace which is the best weapon you can get this early in the game
    4. Celebrate by power leveling drinking to 20 with all the booze you've looted and go on a drunken rampage and use fists so you dont kill them and can keep getting XP from them. At this point you should have about 11 strength, 20 drinking,16 herbalism, 20 maintenance, 5 lockpicking and about 2-3 speach and a bunch of weapon levels in whatever you use and a bit of stealth
    5. On your escape from Skalitz run down all the cumans from horseback and take as much of their gear as you can without being too overencumbered to mount your horse. Once you get to Talmberg trade as much as you can for lockpicks then jump a horse over the drawbridge and once you get back to Skalitz and your finally done slow limping back to your storage chest dump everything and finish the tutorial. Everything you looted should be worth a bit over 10k

If you want to be even more overpowered right from the start sell off as much of your loot as you can, get the advanced sword training and sprint to Neuhoff to buy a horse and go straight to the Uzhitz scribe to learn how to read then back to Rattay to buy every potion recipe for about 5k and grind alchemy to 10 by brewing marigold potions over and over for about an hour then burn through the rest of the herbs you picked earlier in Skalitz with auto brewing and sell everything extra you dont need to get all your gold back to use to buy better gear if the store has any, you should be able to afford nearly whatever you want. Keep a bunch of buff and healing potions and some poisons. Now that your decked out in full plate armour and able to start every fight stacking like 3 buffs, already healing in advance and using poisons your finally ready for a hilariously unfair fight against Hanz in the arena where even if you stand still and take every hit without blocking you heal wounds faster than he can make them and you can beat him in 5 seconds

Me and the boys having a good time

Decided to share some screenshots here. There is something about wearing common clothes/low level equipment, that makes it really inspiring. It is fun to put armor aside and try combinations on Henry to fit a certain character.

The son of the (ledetchko) blacksmith is acting sus again

Henry the hunter tries his luck

Money making. Spoilers if you haven't even started the game yet.

I see a lot of people talking about using alchemy to make their money, and it's fairly useful when leveling your alchemy skill, but why use that as your source of income unless you're purposefully limiting yourself for roleplay reasons or something similar?

As soon as I'm able, I always head straight to Skalitz right after getting the sandbox opened up. Let the bandits and whoever fight and die in there, then lure the rest out into the field in front of Skalitz and run around and they'll eventually despawn right in front you. (On console, may be different for PC. I dunno.) I do this before I even train with Bernard.

One trip will let you get a horse (I usually start with Boxer because he's super cheap and has high carry capacity.) And now that you're on a horse for your second trip, you can carry a LOT more gear back to sell, as well as take some time to kill an extra bandit or two for even more profitable runs. If my inventory isn't full in one run, I fast travel to Rovna and back to Skalitz, rinse and repeat. Usually spend about 2-3 hours doing this, end up with amazing starting gear, and about 20k groschen. I also find this to be loads more fun than trying to get OP before leaving Skalitz in the first place.

Save-scum helps the first couple of times when you have shit equipment, because you can quickly die if they manage to catch you, but once you figure out how to handle the situation it gets easy and becomes a deadly game of cat and mouse.

What is the big box in general traders buildings that looks like the walls of the old TARDIS?

The one with the bunch of circular indents on the side and the dome on top. I can't figure out by looking at it what the hell it is.

    Help, please.

    Posted: 18 May 2021 04:56 PM PDT

I was on the quest "All that Glisters" and I was supposed to find some German knight at the tavern, but I went toward Skalitz and accidentally found some mine that had the counterfeiters inside. I was supposed to find it later on in the mission and now I've skipped a bunch of objectives.

Will this screw up my game? Did I miss anything? Should I go back to a previous save and ignore the mine for now?

    Thanks 🙏

    I love this game but...

    Posted: 18 May 2021 07:57 PM PDT

I love playing this game so much but it is constantly throttling making it completely unplayable. I would have to restart the game or even my computer every time. I have a laptop with MX 450 graphics and i5. I usually get between 30 and 60(which is tolerable for me). There's no reason why it should be throttling. I've checked temperatures and they are within the limits, I've tried other games and they aren't doing the same...

To the two bandits outside Sasau who were unarmed and attacked Henry in broad daylight who was armed with a longsword and full plate: why?

    Posted: 18 May 2021 01:46 PM PDT

I let them go unconditionally, worried they were mental patients with the odds they were up against. But why?? I'm so confused lmao
